Beneficial Minerals Added

The Pelican Pro RO 2-stage post filter offers a carbon/mineral filter inside that adds back in the essential minerals (calcium & magnesium) to your drinking and cooking water which are removed from RO systems and Ultra filtration systems.

How Does It Work?

Pelican’s 6 stage filtration system is both effective and compact, so it will fit below your sink and provide water that is better than bottled water. Food you cook, coffee you make, and liquids you drink will taste better. Here’s how it works.

  • Sediment

Reverse Osmosis removes dissolved solids, chemicals, and contaminants.

  • Pre-Filter

RO creates pressure and forces your water through a semi-permeable membrane.

  • Filter

By filtering out impurities, you can enjoy clean-tasting and delicious water.

  • Membrane

Sediments and contaminants collected in the filters are safely flushed down the drain.

  • Polishing

Pelican’s Pro RO delivers great tasting water straight out of your kitchen sink.

  • Minerals

Essential minerals are added back into the water.

How Is Pelican Different?

There are many RO water filtration systems on the market, and they can vary in quality substantially. Consider these factors when choosing a system:

Number of Filters

Systems with more filters and membranes can remove more impurities from the water.

Reverse osmosis systems typically use 5-stage filtration. The Pelican Pro RO adds a unique 6th stage to remineralize the water.

Amount of Water That
Can Be Filtered

The membrane of the Pelican Water Pro RO system can filter 50 gallons per day, which quickly refills the storage tank.

Our filter delivers 30% more flow from the faucet than a traditional RO system.

Minimal Maintenance Required

No tools are needed to maintain our RO system - just remove one cover and replace the cartridge.

Change the 2-stage post-filter every 6 months and your 4-stage membrane every 18 months.

Sign up for Watershield Autoship Club and get your replacement filters for your RO shipped to you without the hassel of having to remember them.

Green By Design

Wastes 50% less water than standard RO systems.

Smaller and more compact means less resources used to manufacturer.

Smaller packaging and light shipping reduces environmental impact.

Made in The US

High quality membranes and system made in the USA.

The Pelican Water Pro RO system is smaller and lighter than other filtration systems, and can be easily installed in a small kitchen cabinet.

Pelican Pro 6-Stage Reverse Osmosis (Brushed Nickel) is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 150.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from So Compact I have installed many Reverse Osmosis systems and this has to be the most compact unit. No cartridges to attach to side walls of cupboard. Very easy install. Can't comment on longevity and ease of acquiring replacement parts yet. Very happy with quality of filtered water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, Easy to Install, and Tasty Water This is the most compact version I found, slightly larger than the water tank. Tubing lengths were sufficient and easy to connect. The instructions were slightly different than the supplied parts and should be updated. Water taste is good thanks to the after filter that adds some minerals back to the distilled water. Water pressure is good. Water volume is good and we make a lot of coffee and Iced tea. Tip: I have a faucet wrench and that made tightening the nut on the faucet easier, You should get one also to limit the frustration dealing with the nut in tight spaces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could not use this system After receiving this unit, I found that my plumbing would require extensive modification to accommodate it. I ended up returning it at a loss of $40 for shipping. This was no fault of the dealer or product, but was due to my own lack of preparedness. BE SURE that you have a suitable setup before ordering to avoid a costly mistake like mine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and compact, user friendly for easy filter replacements. Water tastes, smells and feels so much better. Great to have the many undesirable elements removed. My cats would not drink the tap water, I bought distilled or purified water for all of us, they drink this water!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I chose Pelican Pro 6-Stage RO because we were concerned about contaminants in our water, and tired of buying bottled water. After ordering the system, we followed the instructions along with YouTube videos and help from the CSR at Pelican who answered a question about a valve/tube. We are quite satisfied with our purchase. Would recommend to others considering a water purifier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good! I was surprised that the connections are just pressure fit. After one week, no leaks so, hopefully that will be the case for the long term. Definitely a good idea to heat the white and black hoses under very hot water for 3 minutes or so. This will make sure you get these hoses fully over the dispenser inputs. I was pleasantly surprised at the pressure / volume of water coming from the dispenser. I received good advice from my sales person to keep water in a pitcher in the refrigerator, so that if you fill up a pot with cooking water, you're not waiting for drinking water while the system re-fills. My net is that this was a better alternative to getting a water service to deliver 5 gallon bottles to my home. The only difficult part was drilling through the kitchen steel sink to make a hole for the dispenser.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Taste great! Love how easy it was for the plumber to install... and the water taste great. Only down fall is RO systems waste water while it fills the tank.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from NOT FOR AN ICE MAKER I bought this a month ago, thinking that I could pipe the water over to my under cabinet ice maker. Not true. After the product arrived, I called the help desk and they called me back. That's when I was told, "we don't recommend this for an ice maker". No real technical explanation, just we don't recommend it for an ice maker. Please add a note on your web page describing how wonderful of a product, to simply state, 'not for an ice maker'. I drink the water from my ice, so ice would be included in drinking water, just that its frozen drinking water. Hard to rate quality and value yet, but can't write a review unless I click something. I'll keep the unit and get something else for my ice maker. Sad, since I wanted RO water for my ice. I was told I could buy a whole house system. Now that's a steep learning curve. Nah, just want RO water for my ice maker and drinking water, not need for toilets, showers, or dishes.

Schematic could be larger - my elderly handyman had a hard time reading it. Fantastic flouride free water (hopefully- I have not tested yet).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great clean water I'd been putting off buying an RO, because I had an expensive Ionizer I hated to chuck, but it didn't filter Uranium which is apparently an issue in LA as my hair analysis showed increasing UR. Most ROs are also too big to fit under by sink and this one fit perfectly. I'm going to buy another one for Palm Springs. Very happy with the tasted of the water and its compact size. One of my patients is also buying one. :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tasting Wpater After years of buying water at Publix or Walmart, now I have great tasting quality water out of my faucet. The installation is easy, the instructions were detailed. And the cost was not at all much. I have only used it for a few days but so far it exceeds my expectation. The only thing I would have preferred was a stainless steel version to match my appliances and existing faucet. The advice from other reviewers to place the backwash drain at the upstream side of the P trap opposite of the garbage dispenser was valuable. Also, to install the drain line, I did not drill a 3/8" hole because my 3/8" bit did not fit into the opening provided on the clamp and i did not want to risk drilling a bigger hole, so I did a smaller hole, and it works fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome system, easy install, fantastic water. I installed a 5-stage Watts RO system in my mother's house years ago, and the whole installation process was extremely time consuming and required a ton of hose routing. Since the Pelican system is practically all-in-one the installation was super easy. Another awesome feature of this system is that you don't have to drain the whole system, flush with a bleach solution, and deal with all the filter canisters. The filters come pre-staged with a chlorine agent to sterilize all the components. All you have to do is wait 8-hours and flush a few times. So much easier than the Watts system. Finally, the water quality is absolutely amazing, and is superior to the Watts system. The water tastes cleaner and is smoother (possibly due to the calcium and magnesium being added back in the final stage). All in all I love my Pelican RO system and will be recommending it to anyone who would like better quality drinking water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Service I found Technical Support to be excellent. Firstly, I hate being a handyman but had to install the Reverse Osmosis System myself. I was a bit of a wreck, but every time I called I found wonderful support and knowledge. I do suggest they add a few lines to their instructions to be more clear about the direction the valves should be in each position. That would be soooo helpful. In the end, total success! I love it! The shower filter is also awesome. You'll notice the difference in your hair in one shower.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good for 1800 tds water This unit is probably a five star for those whose tds is less than a few hundred. It is compact and easy to install especially if you have an extra hole in your countertop already. Unfortunately, for those with very hard well water around 1800 tds which is pre-softened with a salt-based softener, and passed through a particle and carbon filter, it is not so good. With 1800 tds salt going in to it, its output still has a tds of 300-400 which is unacceptable for drinking water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! The best system out there, I bought this about 2 months ago and purchased over the phone because I had some questions about it. I called in and spoke with a rep. who answered all my questions. Easy setup, fast shipping, great tasting water and of course made in USA!! What more could you ask for. We purchased this system to remove fluoride and other impurities so far it’s working great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Water! I have had my system almost a month now and LOVE it! We live in West Texas where the water is almost not drinkable so to have this small faucet next to the main one for great drinking water is a good thing. The tank fits well under the sink even with the garbage disposal. It wasn’t hard to install as I did it by myself (a woman), I just followed the instructions. I would recommend this RO system to anyone, we may even keep one when we don’t live here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product produces such good tasking water. In an effort to lose weight I bought this because I was drinking a lot more water and hated the taste of all the chlorine in my water even my filter pitcher could not get the taste out. I love this filtered water and use it to make my coffee, teas and any other drinks that I make. It's great if you have a great bourbon drinking neat and you just want a tiny splash of water with adding chlorine to the taste of your bourbon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for under my kitchen sink Read the reviews and were a little nervous about this unit fitting under the kitchen sink. Well no worries as it fits perfectly under the sink and there is still plenty of room for the garbage and a couple of other small things I keep under there. I don't usually keep much under the sink just in case something starts to leak. For the time we have used it we are very happy with it.

What is the gallons per day one spot I read 17 GPD and another spot I read 50 GPD

Asked by: Jb93
The production rate of any ro is a function of the capacity of the membrane, which is where you saw the 50 GPD, and your incoming water pressure and water quality. The certification on our system using a standard in home water pressure between 40 and 80 PSI will produce just shy of 18 gallons per day. Your rate may be higher if your water pressure is on the higher end of that range or your water quality is cleaner than that what was used in the testing.

I've had my RO for almost 4 yrs now. I've noticed I'm getting less capacity now. The filter has been changed. How can this be possible?

Asked by: KJC13
Water quality can change, as well as water pressure. Both effect the output of the membrane and filtration on the RO. You may need to change your membrane more often if the TDS has gotten higher in your water.

For every gallon of RO water, there's approximately 2-3 gallons of discharged water

Can the water inlet shut-off valve be safely turned part way, which could lower the water pressure to lessen the water waste when the tank is re-filling?

This will not adjust water pressure or change the amount of waste from the system.
