Beneficial Minerals Added

The Pelican Pro RO 2-stage post filter offers a carbon/mineral filter inside that adds back in the essential minerals (calcium & magnesium) to your drinking and cooking water which are removed from RO systems and Ultra filtration systems.

How Does It Work?

Pelican’s 6 stage filtration system is both effective and compact, so it will fit below your sink and provide water that is better than bottled water. Food you cook, coffee you make, and liquids you drink will taste better. Here’s how it works.

  • Sediment

Reverse Osmosis removes dissolved solids, chemicals, and contaminants.

  • Pre-Filter

RO creates pressure and forces your water through a semi-permeable membrane.

  • Filter

By filtering out impurities, you can enjoy clean-tasting and delicious water.

  • Membrane

Sediments and contaminants collected in the filters are safely flushed down the drain.

  • Polishing

Pelican’s Pro RO delivers great tasting water straight out of your kitchen sink.

  • Minerals

Essential minerals are added back into the water.

How Is Pelican Different?

There are many RO water filtration systems on the market, and they can vary in quality substantially. Consider these factors when choosing a system:

Number of Filters

Systems with more filters and membranes can remove more impurities from the water.

Reverse osmosis systems typically use 5-stage filtration. The Pelican Pro RO adds a unique 6th stage to remineralize the water.

Amount of Water That
Can Be Filtered

The membrane of the Pelican Water Pro RO system can filter 50 gallons per day, which quickly refills the storage tank.

Our filter delivers 30% more flow from the faucet than a traditional RO system.

Minimal Maintenance Required

No tools are needed to maintain our RO system - just remove one cover and replace the cartridge.

Change the 2-stage post-filter every 6 months and your 4-stage membrane every 18 months.

Sign up for Watershield Autoship Club and get your replacement filters for your RO shipped to you without the hassel of having to remember them.

Green By Design

Wastes 50% less water than standard RO systems.

Smaller and more compact means less resources used to manufacturer.

Smaller packaging and light shipping reduces environmental impact.

Made in The US

High quality membranes and system made in the USA.

Size

The Pelican Water Pro RO system is smaller and lighter than other filtration systems, and can be easily installed in a small kitchen cabinet.

Pelican Pro 6-Stage Reverse Osmosis (Brushed Nickel) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 74.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from RO undersink system Excellent and relatively easy to install. Only problem is, that once you connect the drain line from the air gap to your waste drain from you sink. I found that if you have a disposal inline, then the pressurized waste from using the disposal may clog up your drain line from the air gap . This in turn forces the air gap to become your drain and it runs all over the back of the sink. Contacted Customer service they recommended cleaning the line regular. This wont be an option and is a hassle. Move or connect your air gap to the upper side of your water seal on the other sink drain away from the disposal side to avoid and or does not continue to be a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install and gives high flow I have had this for several weeks and am very pleased with it. I like its compact size. It fit neatly in my cabinet and still allows room for my trash can. Installation was easy. My biggest concern was that I would get enough water. I had a GE RO system in my previous house. This has really good pressure. I can fill my coffee maker, get a couple of glasses of water, and it is still going strong. The flow is fast enough that it takes less time to fill my coffee maker than from the sink faucet. This was the most expensive product I considered, but I feel it was worth it based on other RO systems I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Safe Drinking Water I have been using Pelican Under-sink Reverse Osmosis water filters for many years. I bought my first one in about 2005, and just updated again because I now needed a bronze faucet and new filters. I trust this filter to remove chlorine and other nasties that I would rather not intake. I cook with it also and my cats drink only filtered water. Installation instructions are great, all parts are there and it always works. Only one thing bothers me...it disposes of a lot of water while filtering for the holding tank and that water goes down the pipes. I would rather be able to catch and use that water for gardening, cleaning, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Filter for the Price We installed this filter last week and are so pleased with it that I bought one for each of our kids. I recently was diagnosed with breast cancer and am finishing up radiation treatments now. In researching, it looks like drinking municipal water could have had a part to play in my cancer. Ninety percent of cancers are caused by the toxins in our environment. With our cities infrastructures decaying I felt that it was a good move to filter our water. We like the 6th stage putting back calcium and magnesium into the water and the water flow is much better than expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The installation was easy with the instructions provided. I wish that they provided a dishwasher/garbage-disposal drain adapter as the drain saddle they provided did not work for my application. I had to purchase that separately (Watts Premier 164020 DLA-D Drain Line Plumbing Adapter, Amazon - $17) Make sure that the drain hose is sloped downward to the drain connection, otherwise, the air gap in the faucet they provided will have backup of the brine water generated by the RO system. I tested the water from the RO with a TDS meter and it is great (less than 20) compared to 375-410 TDS from regular tap faucet. This test result is 1 week post-installation. The 4-stage filter is rated for 18 months and the 2-stage GAC/mineral inline filter is rated for 6 months. Based on the cost of Pelican RO filters, I will have to expect to pay about $90 per year on the filters required for this product. I will see if the performance of the filters are still as good in 3, 6, 9, and 12 months from now. TBD.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tasting water with a decent PH I bought this system a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. When I initially installed the water dispenser I was getting upset that it was leaking only to realize that the drain tube had a section that was below the pipe it was draining to. Once I cut the tube and made sure the tube went down directly to the drain pipe, it worked perfectly. I also bought a ph meter and the 6th filter adds minerals to get the PH to 7. I am very happy with my purchase and love not buying bottled water. The only issue is that the water is not ice cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Compact under sink system I installed this system myself and system appears to working as described. I have limited room under my very deep farm sink, so this system was the smallest all in one RO system I could find. It fit perfect and is very compact. The instructions could have been much better, if you're not a handy person, it may be a hard install for you. There are some improvements I would suggest to the company to make the install easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband and I chose Pelican Pro 6-Stage RO because we were concerned about contaminants in our water, and tired of buying bottled water. After ordering the system, we followed the instructions along with YouTube videos and help from the CSR at Pelican who answered a question about a valve/tube. We are quite satisfied with our purchase. Would recommend to others considering a water purifier.

Will one of these systems remove cyanobacteria?

Asked by: Kirstin
Depending on the application, a sediment filter may help. If this is for an aquarium, we do not recommend using a water filter for that.

Is it possible to split the output (filtered water) three ways and still maintain 30psi or above on those output lines? I'd like filtered water to my fridge line (neaby), instant hot water heater at the sink, and the filtered water faucet.

Asked by: Rebecca
No you would not get enough output pressure wise to split it three ways.

Why can I not use this with my existing faucet?

Asked by: Hrhrudi
RO systems do not produce enough water to use your main faucet with. RO requires its own air-gap faucet to operate.

Will this work with other hot/cold faucets? I need it in a Matte Black in a modern style.. Will it also work with my dishwasher/ Insinkerator line

Asked by: Condo2018
RO systems are designed to provide drinking water only. They cannot be connected to hot/cold faucets or a dishwasher due to the limited flow they produce.

Can an RO system remove sulfate with a level of 2005 and total dissolved solids of 4076? I seen that the systems report removing 93% but have been told only if the levels are 2000 or below

Asked by: Jody
RO systems are limited to a TDS of 2,000 or less. While you could use an RO on water with higher TDS the overall reduction would be impacted and the filter life greatly shortened.

Can this be hooked up directly to the kitchen faucet?

Asked by: SCOTT
No, this will have its own separate faucet due to requiring an air gap in the faucet with the drain.

Is there any way to also hook this up to a line to the refrigerator?

Asked by: AKT!
Hello, We have had customers do that with the RO. It would require you installing a tee to divert treated water to the fridge. The fridge must be within 8-10 feet of the unit to prevent loss in water pressure to your fridge.

Can this be used as a desalinator, to turn brackish or salt water into drinking water?

Asked by: BGenie
Our RO system is certified to remove up to 97% of TDS which includes sodium and chloride. However, due to the high TDS content of salt water, you will have to change the filters more often if you use this on water with salt intrusion (Brackish Water). The TDS limit for this system is 2,000.
