Basil Peppermint Iced Tea
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 8 cups filtered water
- 1/3 cup natural sweetener (honey, agave or maple syrup)
Steps:
Place your basil and mint leaves in a large pot, before adding four cups of boiling water. Steep for at least 10 minutes, allowing more time for stronger tea. Sweeten to your liking. Chill before serving.
Watermelonade
- Ingredients:
- 16 cups ice cubes made using filtered water
- 10-12 lb. seedless watermelon
- 4 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Salt
Steps:
Chop watermelon flesh into approximately 2-inch chunks, discarding the rind. Purée about a quarter of the flesh in a blender, along with a pinch of salt, 4 cups ice, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 tbsp. sugar. Strain into a large bowl, discarding any solids. Add sugar until sweetened to desired taste. Make three more batches and serve over ice.
Vanilla-Cran-Raspberry Punch
- Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 6 cups cranberry-flavored sparkling beverage
- 6 cups cranberry-raspberry juice (100 percent)
- 1 pint of raspberry sorbet
- 2-6 cups filtered water
- Ice cubes
Steps:
Combine first three ingredients within a large bowl. Scoop sorbet into bowl. Dilute with filtered water to reduce tartness. Add ice and serve immediately.
