    Fun Fruit Infuser Recipes

As wonderful and fresh filtered water is, sometimes your appetite craves something a little extra. Many Americans ditch water altogether for sugary beverages with disastrous results, but there is a much better and healthier way to go about quenching your thirst while adding some diversity to your drinking habits.

The Pelican Water infuser bottle is a great way to mix ingredients and gently infuse good old-fashioned H2O with plenty of delicious combinations of ingredients. Follow along and utilize your infuser bottle for these tasty recipes.

Mandarin, Basil, and Black Tea Infused Water

This floral and earthy concoction contains the perfect combination of zesty fruit and hearty tea to keep you awake all afternoon.

    • 3 mandarin oranges, halved
    • 4 basil leaves, torn
    • 1 black tea bag
    • 27 oz. filtered water

Combine all ingredients with filtered water in your infuser bottle and allow to infuse for 2–3 hours. This recipe must be infused at room temperature; chilled infusing won’t allow the tea to properly seep into the drink. Serve with ice to chill the drink after it is properly infused. Discard the tea bag before drinking.

    Grape Pineapple Infused Water

This delectable infused water recipe perfectly balances sweet flavors without overpowering the senses, and the filtered water is reliably refreshing.

    • 6 red grapes
    • 1 pineapple spear
    • 27 oz. filtered water

Cut the grapes in half to punch up the flavor during infusion. Slice the pineapple down to a spear of three to four inches in length. Mix all ingredients in the infuser bottle and allow to infuse in the refrigerator for four to 24 hours. For stronger flavor, infuse longer. If the pineapple is overwhelming the grapes, add more grapes or cut a shorter pineapple spear. The ideal taste is a balance of the two flavors.

    Grapefruit Rosemary Infused Water

This incredibly unique water infusion recipe packs a healthful boost of vitamin C. The combination of ingredients can also help detoxify your liver. This delicious recipe is great for breakfast and early mornings.

    • 1 grapefruit
    • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
    • 27 oz. filtered water

Remove the grapefruit rind and cut the fruit into slices. Mix half of the grapefruit with the remaining ingredients in your infuser bottle. For a smoother taste, infuse in the refrigerator overnight for at least 12 hours. For a more tart taste, infuse at room temperature for 2 hours.

If you prefer a stronger taste, use the entire grapefruit with this recipe. The flavor is delicately balanced with the rosemary, so when using the entire grapefruit, add a dash more rosemary.

With the Pelican Water infuser bottle you can tackle these recipes and many more. It’s a terrific way to add natural flavor to your filtered water and help ensure you remain properly hydrated throughout the day.
