Army Sgt Brian Currier from Beaverton MI who was wounded in action in Iraq in 2006 and know a 100% disabled veteran. Sgt Currier was in need of a water filtration system for his home. The well water was making him and his family ill, with high concentrations of Iron and other contaminates.
Sgt Currier contacted Operation First Response with a request for assistance to replace the old system that was making the family ill. OFR Chairman of the Board Mrs. P.J. Sesker-Green then contacted Justin Barker from Pelican Water Systems about the Wounded Heroes request. Mr. Barker and Pelican donated a whole house system to eliminate the problem for Sgt Currier.
Pelican Water Systems went above and beyond to lend a helping hand to this very deserving Wounded Hero. Operation First Response and the Currier family extend a Grateful and heart felt Thank You to Pelican: you have shown you are Truly Great Americans.
